Praetorian Garde prioritizes safety and liability. When requested by you, your staff or alarm monitoring company, a Mobile Patroller will be dispatched to investigate any alarms at your home of business. Our patrollers will verify if a break-in curently happening or has occurred and promptly secure the schene, when possible and notify the appropriate emergency services. From there, we alert designated keyholder, ensuring swift action and knowledge based guidance on-site.

Our authority grants us the privilege of issuing official Provincial Offence Notices / Parking Penalty Notices, commonly known as parking tickets under the authority of the city of Ottawa and Province of Ontario for following infractions:

A CRJMC is a mandatory, high-level background check required for obtaining or renewing a Ontario Security Guard License, confirming eligibility under the Private Security and Investigative Services Act, 2005. It covers criminal convictions, findings of guilt, absolute/conditional discharges, outstanding charges, judicial orders and arrest warrants. The check is valid for six (6) months.

Return Policy: No refunds will be provided unless the Ministry of the Solicitor General rejects your CRJMC. You must provide a proof of rejection for potential refunds. Important Notice: To ensure timely processing of a CRJMC, it is the users responsibility to carefully read and follow all provided instructions regarding acceptable identification and document requirements. The system may conduct a soft credit check to verify a users identity. If the user fails to answer the identity questions correctly, their CRJMC will be rejected and the user will be required to purchase a new CRJMC. Furthermore, any submission that requires Praetorian Garde assistance to reprocess an application due to user error, by user failure to follow instructions, may incur an additional administrative fee of $35.00 (plus applicable taxes). Regular CRJMC's will be processed during regular business hours; Mondays to Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Should a user require a expedited CRJMC, outside of regular business hours, an additional administrative fee of $35.00 (plus applicable taxes).

It starts with our recruitment process that has been finely tuned to filter any un-qualified individuals who do not meet our standards. We do not hire individuals only based on the validity of their security license as seen in recent years in our industry. We pride ourselves in hiring the best. After the primary submission of your information, our recruitment process is divided into 4 Phases.

Phase 1: formal application, scenario-based assignment, and notes, Ministry exam simulation. If successful;

Phase 2: the formal interview. Averaging about 1.5 to 2 hours at which point a board meeting is conducted to determine if the subject is suitable to be employed. If successful;

Phase 3: an offer of probationary employment
-
Probationary employment: 720 worked hours. Continuous education and training during and following probation until the end of employment.
